Mother's Day Promotion
This year for Mother’s Day, we are pleased to announce our first annual letter writing campaign for Valparaiso Community students in kindergarten through fifth grade. We understand and appreciate that children are delighted to share an extra special gift on Mother’s Day; therefore we would like to assist them in expressing their true feelings of gratitude for the most significant woman in their life.
Our letter writing campaign, entitled Her Time to Shine like a Gem will consist of two groups: kindergarten through second grade in one category and students in third through fifth grade in the second group. Each elementary school with at least ten students total participating in our campaign will receive a $100 cash contribution that the school may allocate as desired. In addition, two individual winners will be selected out of the eight Valparaiso Community elementary schools based on their letter’s creativity. These two winners, one from each group will receive a PANDORA charm bracelet compliments of Martin Binder Jeweler, maximum retail value $100 each. Two second place winners will be selected, each receiving a gift certificate for a one hour massage, perfect for mom, compliments of House of Bianco Day Spa in Merrillville, retail value $75 each.
This is a great opportunity for kids to express their love on Mother’s Day, promote writing, and give our schools $100 for any extracurricular activities. Teachers from both Memorial and Central Elementary schools have already confirmed their eagerness to participate in this wonderful promotion.
Principals along with teachers within the community have received information on the details of this promotion. Winners will be contacted via telephone and announced in the “NEWS” section of our company’s website, www.martinbinders.com on Friday, May 7th. Once winners have been announced, the two winning children will get to accompany their mother or favorite woman into our store, to select a PANDORA bracelet to represent this special moment. Our two second place winners will also be called to pick up their gift certificates. Mothers’ whose children have participated in this campaign are welcome to pick up their child’s essay from our store during normal business hours starting on Monday, May 10th.
